The program provides repairs for qualified homeowners to help improve the safety and living conditions of your home. Home improvement services are provided at no cost to the homeowner.

Homeowner Eligibility Requirements:
- Own the home in Boston or its surrounds.
- Household income must be below the income limit by homeowner-family residents.

Application Steps:1) Submit Application: Complete the homeowner application below.2) Provide Documentation: Supporting documents can be sent with the application or later.

- Copy of most recent year’s Federal Income Tax filing (must include schedules
- Copy of recent monthly bank statement
- Copy of recent monthly utility or home insurance bill
- Proof of income (social security statement, pension statement, rental income)
- Copy of veteran status documentation (if applicable)
3) Schedule Assessment: If the homeowner qualifies, an RTB team member will reach out to the applicant to schedule a home visit/assessment. 4) Assess Home: Home assessment by RTB using the 25 point Safe and Healthy Home Priorities checklist.5) Select Home: If the homeowner is selected, RTB will contact the homeowner and discuss the timeline of work.
