MAKE MEMORIES at the yard

For information on our COVID -19 policy, please visit for Covid-19 Updates page.

The Steel Yard is a center for creative activity and events. We’re a collaborative of artists, craftspeople, makers, and learners. We want to share what we make and how we make it with you. Every October we pour molten iron through 30-foot metal sculptures!  In the summer we open our studio and demonstrate our crafts of blacksmithing, iron pouring, welding, ceramics, and jewelry.

Come witness the industrial arts in action at our historic campus that features soaring steel gantries and the enormous sculptural remnants of Iron Pours past. Stay up to date by checking out our Facebook, Instagram and events calendar.
