Hundreds Of 'Rock It Sock It' Kits Going To Aurora Homeless Community
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The Aurora Police Department thanked to community for helping in its annual "Rock It Sock It" event. The department collected more than 700 kits, including 3,000 pairs of socks.
The socks were bagged with toiletries and given to people in need, such as those in the homeless community.
In 2020, right before the pandemic gripped Colorado, the department gathered enough items for 2,200 kits.
