2022 - Winder appeared and started in all 11 games for the Lions as a linebacker ... Finished with 91 tackles, 2.5 TFL's, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, three interceptions, two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries ... Recorded 10 or more tackles at Fort Hays State (Sep. 24), #10 Pittsburg State (Oct. 1) and Central Missouri (Oct. 15) ... Had at least 0.5 TFL's at UCM, #11 Northwest Missouri (Nov. 5) and against Emporia State (Oct. 22) ... Recorded two interceptions for 13 yards against Lincoln (Oct. 8) while also recording five tackles ... Had a pass breakup against Central Oklahoma (Sep. 17) and ESU ... Recovered a fumble against UCO and at UCM ... Forced a fumble against the Bronchos.

2021 - Appeared and started in all 11 games for the Lions as a linebacker and a member of the special teams... Finished the season with 87 tackles (44 solo) with 1.5 TFL's while having two interceptions and a pass break up... In the Season opener against Nebraska-Kearney (Sep. 2) on the road finished with 10 tackles (four solo)... At home against Northeastern State (Sep. 11) finished with 12 tackles (seven solo)... Against Missouri Western (Oct. 30) at home finished with 12 tackles (seven solo) while having a TFL as well... Against #6 Northwest Missouri (Nov. 6) came away with 11 tackles (seven solo)... In the season finale against #24 Washburn (Nov. 13) with seven tackles and a pass break up... Came away with an interception against Pittsburg State (Oct. 2) and Central Missouri (Oct. 16) at home as well.

2020 - Played in the 21-20 win over Southern Nazarene (Mar. 18) on the road ... did not lose a year of eligibility during the 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic

2019 - Appeared in eleven games starting seven for the Lions as a linebacker and a member of the all-star team's... Finished the season tied for second in the MIAA and second in NCAA Division II (5th across all divisions) for tackles by a freshman with 95 tackles (44 solo), while also picking up three TFL’s, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions and was named Honorable Mention by the MIAA as a linebacker… In his first start against #17 Central Missouri (Oct. 5) recorded 15 tackles… Against Emporia State (Nov. 9) and Pittsburg State (Nov. 16) had a season-high 16 tackles in each game with seven solo tackles as well in each... One of 16 Lions to be named on the first-year or transfer MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

Prior to Southern - Winder has been a three-year letter winner for coach Jon Guide at Carthage High School ... Also a wrestler at Carthage, Winder was a two-time All-State selection, earning First-Team honors as a senior ... he was also an All-Conference, All-district and All-Area pick, while earning the All-Area Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior ... for his career, he has 285 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, three sacks, 12 forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

Personal - Colton is the son of Heather and John Housh and plans to major in industrial engineering at Southern.
