Biography

2020 - Parish pitched in six games with six starts that included a complete game no-hitter against the University of Mary (Feb. 8)... Posted a 4-0 record with 34.0 innings of work allowed 12 runs (10 earned) on 18 hits with 20 walks and 57 strikeouts. while maintaing a 2.65 ERA ...  Named MIAA Pitcher of the Week twice and became the MIAA career leader in strikeouts (352).

2019 – MIAA Pitcher of the Year ... All-MIAA, All-Region and All-American ... Parish pitched in 16 games with 16 starts, one of which was a complete game shutout. He posted a 9-2 and had 101.0 innings of work where he allowed 37 runs (32 earned) on 72 hits with 34 walks and 136 strikeouts. He maintained a 2.85 ERA through 414 batters faced.

2018 - Sat out 2018 per MIAA transfer rules.

Prior to Southern - (At NSU) - NORTHEASTERN STATE – Sophomore  (2017) - pitched in 14 games with 11 starts ... went 4-4 with a 5.14 ERA ... struck out 52 batters in 63 innings. 
 
Freshman (2016) – Pitched in 17 games with 14 starts during his inaugural campaign . . . selected as the MIAA Freshman of the Year and was named to the All-MIAA Second Team . . . led the conference and was 12th in the nation with an NSU-record 107 strikeouts . . . compiled a 6-3 record and was ninth in the MIAA with a 4.17 ERA in 90.2 innings pitched . . . pitched 7.0 innings of a shutout against Emporia State . . . pitched a 9.0-inning complete game against Lindenwood . . . had double-digit K’s three times, including 13 against Northwest Missouri State . . . named the MIAA Pitcher of the Week on March 1 and April 19.
 
High School – Was a three-year starter at Sequoyah HS under Brad Jones at Sequoyah High School . . . earned postseason recognition from both the All-Muskogee Phoenix team and the All-VYPE team . . . recorded a .392 batting average during his career with the Indians . . . also had 23 stolen bases . . . posted a 10-5 record on the mound with 117 strikeouts (in 104 innings) and a 2.67 earned-run average . . . was also a standout performer in both football and basketball.
