2022 - Sampson appeared in 10 games for the Lions with three starts to end the season ... Finished the season going 65-for-118 (55.1%) with five touchdowns for 752 yards ... In his first career start at Missouri Western (Oct. 29) had 154 yards and two touchdowns while going 12-for-20 with a long of 36 yards and three rushing attempts for five yards ... In the season finale against Washburn (Nov. 12) finished going 18-for-32 with 233 yards and a touchdown for a season-high in completions and passing yards.

2021 - Sampson redshirted

Prior to Southern -  Sampson prepped at Clear Spring high school where he played football and basketball for the Chargers ... On the gridiron for coach Craig Dailey, Sampson led the Chargers to a district championship this past season while having 2,513 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns ... Named first-team All-District and All-County as a senior.
