DAGA Co-Chair Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum on Georgia’s Six-Week Abortion Ban

Washington, D.C.— The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement from Co-Chair Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum regarding Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp signing House Bill 481, a six-week abortion ban that is one of the nation’s most restrictive anti-choice measures.

Statement from Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum, Co-Chair of the Democratic Attorneys General Association
:

“In the state of Georgia, the Republican Governor just signed into law one of the most alarming attacks on a woman’s rights and freedoms in the country. Let’s be clear: an attack on reproductive rights anywhere is a threat to reproductive health everywhere. That means we must work together to elect leaders up and down the ballot, including Democratic state Attorneys General, who will fight to protect reproductive rights and put women and families first in 2019, 2020, and beyond.”
