Welcome to the South Fork Road Corridor Plan Online Open House!

The South Fork Road Corridor Plan began in late 2019 and is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2020. Project meeting notification mailers were sent to over 1,400 local addresses in February 2020. On March 3, 2020, we engaged over 25 residents and stakeholders at the first of two public open house events on the South Fork Road Corridor Plan. The March 3, 2020 Open House Summary is available online here.

Due to public health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are conducting the second open house event online. The purpose of this online open house is to get your feedback on the potential improvement options that can happen in the corridor, including traffic signs and pavement striping to improve motorist safety, potential roadway widening, and possible site improvements to better accommodate residents and visitors in the corridor. Written material will be available to stakeholders and residents who do not have internet access by contacting:

How Does it Work?

Here you will travel between virtual “stations” like you would in-person to learn background information about the purpose and need for this project, and the improvement options. There will be visuals and reading to help you learn about the improvement options, benefits and limitations, and proposed locations. The options are not mutually exclusive.

We ask that you provide as much feedback as you would like to provide. You do not have to reply to every question along the way. At the end there will be an opportunity to provide comments that don’t fit into any of the existing categories. The entire online open house will take about 15-20 minutes. Please share this link with your neighbors, community members, and friends who use the corridor!

We are in the draft corridor plan phase. The next phase is the final corridor plan.
