The goal of this certified CME forum is to improve physician competence in applying current clinically relevant data and expert strategies in cosmetic surgery and dermatology. An important part of this goal is to help core specialty physicians and other care providers by featuring practical tips and innovative solutions to cosmetic surgery and dermatology challenges. Key aspects of the activity will include improving clinician understanding of the scientific concepts and clinical data related to neurotoxin therapy, cosmetic dermal fillers, hydroquinones, cosmetics/cosmeceuticals/retinoids, fat treatments, and developments in the pipeline. Also included, will be analysis and discussion of risk management in medical practice, problem-solving and proper patient disclosure, as well as patient communication and privacy issues.
