City of Duluth to host final public meeting regarding upcoming Raleigh Street reconstruction project

Thursday, November 10, 2022 | 6:30p to 7:30p | City Center West, 5830 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN 55807

The City of Duluth will host its third and final public meeting on November 10, 2022 regarding the reconstruction of Raleigh Street. The meeting will be held Thursday, November 10 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at City Center West. This meeting is to present the chosen project design to the public, refine any areas of concern, and collect additional feedback.

The scope of work for the project includes:

  • Full reconstruction of the street, sidewalks, and utilities from Grand Ave/Hwy 23 to 59th Avenue W.
  • Replacement and installation of a new water main.
  • Replacement and installation of new storm water infrastructure.
  • ADA improvements for pedestrians.
  • Multimodal improvements for cyclists and other lightweight human-and electric-powered devices.

 

The public meeting will begin with an overview of the project by City staff, followed by a question and answer session.
