Fetti Farewell Instagram Hop

Well this is it! It's time to say goodbye to Reverse Confetti and wish the owner Jen all the best. I'm sorry to say goodbye but I understand that sometimes you have to decide to make the hard choice.

We're having an Instagram hop showing some of our favorite sets Here are some of mine...
I've always loved these adorable angels from Joyous Holidays because they remind me of little figurines my Grandmother had that I loved as a child.
Fall Foliage always makes me happy - I have alot of family birthdays this time of year. That mixed with the cooler temps and baking going on.. this time of year always feels like home.
Enchanted Garden is so typical of Reverse Confetti - super cute images that just make you smile!
And don't forget the Confetti cut dies like the Flower Builder, background panels, tags and more!

Join us in celebrating Reverse Confetti's big farewell. You can hop along with us starting at my Instagram here.. @jeannejachna

Grateful For You

We know you love Reverse Confetti, but did you know they have a monthly challenge? It's called Stock Your Stash and every month there is a different theme designed to help you have a card for just about every occasion for events throughout the year.
I love seeing the different designs linked to the challenge so I can see the unique ways others have made with the products that I might already have on hand. It's also a great place to make friends - because we have alot in common! And.. linking up your design automatically enters you to win the prize giveaway!
This month's theme is Thanksgiving and Friendship! There's lots of different stamp sets that you could use to play along. I love flowers so I couldn't resist these Fall Flowers!
The flowers are clean lined so they're easy to color with markers or your favorite media. I arranged two of the large florals from the set around the sentiment that I cut with a paper trimmer.
That beautiful stitched background was created by cutting the Folklore Cover Panel from white cardstock and inking it with Distress Oxide in fall colors. Top to bottom if you'd like to give this one a try.. Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon and Festive Berries.
I hope you'll join me and play along! The challenge always begins on the first and you have the  whole month to play along!   If you do, your stash will have one more card ready for the Thanksgiving holiday! What a great way to say thanks to a friend for all the good things they bring to your life.

Hip Hip Hooray

Hi friends! I hope you're having a good day! Today I'm playing along at Shopping Our Stash. The theme this time is Leaf Me Alone! I love that they encourage me to use products I already have instead of shopping for new! I've been trying to slow my spending and focus more on supplies like inks, makers and cardstock lately.
This card starts with the Reverse Confetti Stitched Pinwheel cover die cut from white cardstock. Instead of cutting a bunch of scraps with colored cardstock I inked the cut out pieces with distress ink. This saved me time cutting !!!

I topped the panel with Reverse Confetti Tropical Leaves that I stamped with colored ink on colored cardstock. You don't have to be a master with markers to add some color to your designs!

The HAPPY sentiment is cut from cardstock in matching colors. The letters are adhered over the background die that's included in the Reverse Confetti "Happy" die set.

The finishing touch is a few gold enamel dots. I always stock up when Hobby Lobby has a Paper Studio half off sale! The gold is brilliant because it goes with EVERYTHING! I hope you find some time to play!

Reverse Confetti September Release Instagram Hop

If you've been following me then you've been seeing my posts with sneak peeks of the September Reverse Confetti release. We call this our "Countdown to Confetti". Today the new release is officially available in the store. The design team and guest designers always celebrate with a blog hop. Today we're doing things a little different.. we're having an Instagram Hop. You can start at any of the designer posts on Instagram - mine is here @jeannejachna
I can only show you a few photos on Instagram.. you can't get to see or read about how a card was made so I thought I'd share more photos and details here on my blog.
This card starts with a SMALL DIAMOND TILES Background Panel cut from white cardstock and layered over a kraft panel.
The "GATHER" sentiment is new - it's hot foil and does have a coordinating die cut. The smaller strip sentiment under the script one is from the AUTUMN SENTIMENTS Stamp Set.
The FALL FOLIAGE is a "Re-Release" that means it's an existing stamp set that Reverse Confetti brought back. I thought you'd like to see that even if you don't like to color, that you could stamp the images with colored ink on colored cardstock and achieve some beautiful results.
My second card starts with the images from the POINSETTIA stamp set stamped on the smooth side of watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I used watercolor brush pens from Altenew to color the panel - the colors are really bright!
I die cut the panel with the JOY TO THE WORLD Confetti Cut Die and inserted 3 cuts from white, and one from gold glitter paper for thickness and dimension. I topped it with a white die cut at a slight offset to reveal some of the gold glitter paper. I was originally going to top it with the stamped cut out, but the message seemed to get lost.

A sprinkle of gold sequins always makes things shiny and bright! The color on this card is stunning!

Here's a complete list of designers that are sharing projects today on the instagram hop! Click here to start at my instagram @jeannejachna.

Countdown to Confetti Day 3
Poinsettia and Christmas Card Sentiments

It's Day 3 in the Countdown to Confetti - that means we're showing sneak peeks of the Reverse Confetti September release September 13 through September 15. The new release will officially be available on September 16 - TOMORROW!!!! when we'll be celebrating with a blog hop and sharing more ideas for makes with the new release.
Today it's all about Christmas! We've got beautiful new POINSETTIAS and CHRISTMAS CARD SENTIMENT Greetings!
This card starts with Big and Small PLAID LINES stacked and then layered over a gold glitter panel. I adhered beautiful poinsettias and foliage.
The images are colored with Copic Markers. I love the "stained glass" look of the images that allow me to add different colors wherever I like!
That gold hot foil "CHRISTMAS" is new and pairs beautifully with the small line Christmas Card Sentiments.

I made a tag with the BIG CONFETTI TAG. I inked it with distress ink, stamped a sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black and added some beautiful holiday POINSETTIA and foliage.

Ready to see more designs made with these two sets? Here's a list of all the designers with projects to share today! But BEFORE YOU GO... PLEASE leave a comment. There's a $15 gift certificate up for grabs and you have to comment to win!

Countdown To Confetti Day 2
Fall Foliage and Autumn Sentiments

Thanks for stopping by! It's day 2 in our Countdown to Confetti - that means we're showing sneak peeks of the Reverse Confetti September release September 13 through September 15. The new release will officially be available on September 16 when we'll be celebrating with a blog hop and sharing more ideas for makes with the new release.
Today we're showing projects made with Autumn Sentiments and Fall Foliage. The Autumn sentiments has mixed font fall greetings in different sizes to cover all your fall makes.
My card starts with a CROSS TILES cover panel layered over some gold glitter paper. I topped the assembled panel with colorful Fall Foliage inked with Copic Markers.
Some of the foliage is adhered flat to the card while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape for dimension. I left just enough room for a strip sentiment to take center stage.
I like baking in the fall and winter and dressing up loaves of pumpkin bread with a bow and a pretty tag. I thought this one was sure to bring a smile! A BIG CONFETTI TAG is the base for this design so there's lots of room for embellishments.

Ready to see more designs made with these two sets? Here's a list of all the designers with projects to share today! But BEFORE YOU GO... PLEASE leave a comment. There's a $15 gift certificate up for grabs and you have to comment to win!
