Multimedia Producer

SCETV Sumter is looking for a creative multimedia producer who is driven and capable of  meeting project deadlines. This position is part of ETV Sumter’s mission of creating content that reflects the communities served by this regional operation.  In addition to supporting in roles as needed for the weekly series of “Making it Grow”; this individual will produce content from concept to completion that is presented on SCETV’s weekly public affairs series Palmetto Scene, Special programs and also deliver unique digital story telling from the area.  The individual filling the position must have the following: demonstrated story telling skills, basic camera operation skills, including DSLR HD/4K video, audio acquisition and postproduction experience, preferably using Adobe Premiere.

Candidate will be responsible for setting up and operation of field cameras, DSLR cameras for studio and location segments.  Candidate should be familiar with video, audio acquisition in a studio setting and on location. Post-production using Adobe Premiere.  Must be able to work independently and part of a team for field shoots and studio productions.  Candidates with experience operating DJI Osmo, DJI Osmo Mini and  DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus preferred but not required.  Must possess strong communication skills. Other duties as required.

Minimum
A high school diploma and experience or additional education in the production of radio or television programs.

Additional
A valid South Carolina's Drivers License.

A bachelor’s degree in Media Arts or Journalism.
